Currently, most people on this forum follow the 2/3rd rule when trading
For those who don't know, this unofficial rule states that whoever has 2/3 of the following qualities, they receive first:
- Join date: Earlier is better
- FG amount: More is better
- Post count: More is better

I propose, for the convenience of traders all across these forums,
that the total Forum Gold IN/OUT and/or the inclusion of number of transactions of the individual be posted on their stat card to the left

I feel that demonstrating high trade activity is a better measure of committment to this site and its rules than does post count, and possibly even better than the other two "stats"

To be clear, I don't think FG IN/OUT is by any means a perfectly reliable indicator of trustworthiness, simply that it is a better indicator than the current 3/3

post count has nothing to do to show trust.

then people would just madness spam

making forum gold in/out dont show trust either , you can easy send fg back and forward for fun.
join date doesnt matter either, i am trusted but i love to use med.

making a profile / signature being active and help people can show you trust.

Fair arguments, and I agree, spam is used to raise post count, hence why I feel post count is a terrible measure of "trustworthiness"
FG IN/OUT is by no means a perfect way of telling if you can trust someone, but I feel, as a contributing factor, it would be more accurate than post count

As to your second argument, also fair, but I still believe it's a stronger metric than post count, or even fg

Yea i would have to agree if your going by the 2/3 rule that's one if the easiest ways to get scammed

Post count means nothing at all most new joiners spam the hell out of their accounts to get there post count up for the 2/3 rule
they can easly get fg from multies or selling stuff etc...

which auto gives them the 2/3 rule

i still use meds to this day there's a select few who i don't use meds with and they are the people in my top friends and most of the people in my friends list

although i do like you idea to add more to the profile and it would be a lot easier to see your transactions/ fg in an out easier instead onf manually having to count them all up so in this sense yes it would be great but i would never base my trades upon any of these rules if i feel i can go 1st i will if not its you or med

none of these things (fg / postcount / joindate) nor fg in/out have anything to do with trust.

If someone has a Trusted tag, you can trust the person; otherwise a Mediator is recommended and you should always prepare screenshots and anything you'd need for a Scammer Accusation case. FG in/out only indicates that FG is circulating through someone; Gold Logs are private for a reason and FG in/out is part of that information. People can share their own info if they want, but I wouldn't substitute that as a measure of trust.
