Not sure if this has been posting already, but I have been meaning to post this since the My Events system first came out!

We need some sort of pm notification when someone posts a comment or requests to join your event. I'm not sure if the real time Instant Messenger updates you but I think some form of notifier would be handy.

Maybe the title could go bold to show you that there is new activity?

Use the dIM and you will have this.

Me like most people are probably not in the habbit of keeping dIM on all the time though

I voted Yes, because truely I need this because I sometime get spammed IM's so I close that down, What I'd say to do would be like just by the

"My Events" link do this.

"My Events (1)" for when something has happened involving your events.

You can keep it open in a tab and get sounds when you receive PMs and event updates etc.
If its not currently a habit, you should make it one then.

There are ALREADY notifications in the dIM. There will NOT be PM notifications. Use the dIM to get INSTANT notifications of My Events events for your created Event.

A standalone client will be released at some point, but in the meantime, just keep a new tab or window open with the dIM to enjoy this new functionality that makes it pretty awesome.
