From what I see, whenever a person asks for a price check in the trading grounds (against trading ground rules), the topic gets closed.

My suggestion is, instead of closing the topic and having them repost it in price check, TA/TM should move the thread to Price checks.

This will reduce the number of threads made since the user will probably repost it in price check anyway.

I already know that whenever someone posts evidence of a scammer in trading grounds it gets closed.
I agree with that since the new topic should include only the person being scammed posting in it.

But for threads concerning price checks, ladder reset, and other off topics, they should be moved accordingly rather than being closed.
Saves the time of reposting the thread.

Lmk what you guys think.

Trade Assistant
A user with a Trade Assistant user group tag has the primary responsibility of informing Trade Moderators about trade-related issues. These users take care of violations as well as act as Mediators for trades, although mediating is not a requirement of their rank. The Trade Assistants can close topics in the Trading Grounds.

Trade Moderator
A user with a Trade Moderator user group tag has the power to warn, close, move, delete, and trash posts within the Trade forums.

Junior Moderator
A user with a Junior Moderator user group tag has the responsibility of assisting the Moderators. These users have the ability to warn, close, move, delete, and trash posts. These users also have the ability to suspend members violating the trading rules. They are able to help with common things in d2jsp or will be able to provide assistance with contacting a user who can assist.

Moderator
A user with a Moderator user group tag has the same abilities as Junior Moderators, as well as a few additional tools at their disposal. They are an authority for handling disputes and make every effort to remain unbiased in their decision making process. For this reason, it is advised that all members respect the Moderator’s decisions, and not argue with them.

There's too many of them. (Them as in price check threads on the trading grounds)

The people asking for price checks should post in the price check forums in the first place.

In a single day, i report approximately ~65 price check threads on the trading ground.

So no.

People should know where to post their topics in the first place.

I think everyone does know where to post them, but it is so much fast and easier to ask for a price check in the place where that item will be sold.

There is a reason why the price check forums exist, people need to use them.

I am of the opinion that those who KEEP using the trade grounds as a pricecheck should get warned. I also feel that moderators and trade mods are busy enough with the daily tasks of D2jsp and that having more to do, simply because someone else is breaking the rules or is just unsure where to post such things is unfair to make it there responsibility to correct.

Personally I think if everyone just went over the forums rules every now and then, there wouldnt be any need for this sort of suggestion to be implemented.

First of all, by closing the topics they're unavailable.
This is a fun forum, mediators, trusted and members++ are not getting paid for the job they do, they do it because they like to help and get this forum in use for everyone.
By the way, those ''locked'' topics that you are calling them, are going as soon as possible into a private Archives thats the reason you can't find them after a week or so.
Have you never thought why there is only 4 page of trades topics per realm?
Use your brain a little.
