Imo.
there should be a link.. where you can click on. enter a users name, and the fg amount you wanna send/ fg pw..
it would make it much easier if say you delete your pms and no longer have link of guy and dont feel like adding to address book...
and would prolly cause less confusion for new members.

what you wrote basically is equivalent to adding them to the address book and clicking the gold icon.
Also misspells will cause problems.

People manage to send gold to the wrong people now, even without entering a name manually. I can only foresee an explosion of mis-sends with such a feature.
