Not sure if this is possible or has been suggested before, but seems to be useful for trades.

What it is:

- Deciding to buy bold/red/italics after a topic is created


How it is useful:

- When topics created without bold/red/italics are becoming dry, the creator can purchase it to catch attention of potential buyers.
- If someone does not have the 5, 10, 15fg right away, they can purchase it when they get enough.
- Adds more forum gold to the Gold Bank.
- You are not allowed to repost a topic until a certain amount of time (one hour I think)
- Therefore, creating a new topic when you have the FG to buy bold/red/italic will violate "no more than 1 thread per item" rule
- Less threads/topics per each trade forum since people won't have to repost!

How it can be useless:

- Those who wish to add bold/red/italics would have done it to begin with
- If a user decides to purchase it when the thread is half way through, it won't get as many bumps til close
- Too many users buying bold/red/italics
