The new IM is pretty great and all but the only problem is having to stay at that screen in order to not go offline. My suggestion is to have a pop out window that will contain just the IM so you can stay online and keep browsing d2jsp at the same time.

No I will not keep 2 windows/tabs open. I already have 26 tabs and 3 windows open at the moment

I just realized my suggestion went against me saying I don't want an extra window.

/fail but how about having it like above the forums or something? I dunno some kind of ajax feature built into the site so we don't need to keep that one window open. Example: Have it so you can choose to have it drop down from the top and when you are down just scroll it back up so it doesn't take up any room.

Voted yes because i love Lights, and because it's a cool idea.

It will be in two forms:
1) It's own window (like it is now)
2) A separate downloadable app (in the future).
