The new Instant messanger is actually very nice to have for the users that are online
But what if a guild member needs to inform the guild on an event or a good deal on items or anything on the IM?
The only people that will know are the users that are online in the IM
With the guild chat you can post something and any user can go back and read it with this it helps guild leaders/admins like myself get a point across.
If a member is harassing another user in the IM how are guild leaders suppose to know if they are not signed into the IM at that particular time.
It limits the use of a guild due to no one being informed on what is going on.

I am pretty sure that this will get closed but it is just my thought and suggestion to bring it back.
Also if it helps njag the guild could pay xxx amount to purchase a guild chat that is NOT the instant messanger

You can make the guild chat topics private

You can no longer post in an actual guild chat.
This is about the new IM and hows it affects guild members/leaders.

I guess i just dont understand... the Guild chat topics replaced the guild chat threads..... and the IM's are a new addition.... not seeing the problem

Guild Topics are a good way to go for this.
