Basically just a transfer of general posting mechanisms over to the new guild topics


1. a preview function for posts before posting the message itself.
=> Less editing, misunderstanding, typos, wrong code etc. for a smooth conversation


2. a notification message at the bottom if messages were edited again.

=> to avoid confusion, misunderstandings and exploit.


3. limited time for editing ( except the guild owner(s) or people given the right by the owner )
=> to avoid discussions being messed up by a high number of later editing


4. see all users currently browsing the topic
2 User(s) are reading this topic (0 Guests and 0 Anonymous Users)
2 Members: NaRa, NaRa
=> see who is reading your topic. meet new friends, be warned of unwelcome guests monitoring the chat.


5. Just as a regular post, also posts made in the public guild topic should be linked as a "last post" in the personal profile
=> easier interlinking between posts, find your own post again faster.


6. Report Button if Forum rules are violated.
=> in case rules are being violated, eventually by guild leaders themselves its easier to report it to someone neutral.


This is just a first compilation, further ideas can be added of course

But for #5, does posting in the public chat actually increase your postcount? I haven't noticed... I hope not.

As for #5 - It doesnt up your post count, so I dont think it should count.

They do NOT count as regular post of course.

This happens when someone has various browser tabs open...
I must have posted on another regular thread before refreshing the guild topic and thought it added
Good thing it doesnt with all the spam fest i saw so far!!

I voted yes, my only thing is with guild topics, posts can be deleted. Do you think it is necessary to have a report button? Please let me know your thoughts.
