Dear Njaguar , instead of putting this 90`s style ugly look IM client with lots of downsides such as : lacking of price checks , we can`t read offline messages , etc etc ... , why don`t you bring back the guild chats this way :
- i am a moderator on a forum where there is a section named off-topic where posts don`t matter to your postcount , this way ppl are not encouraged to spam there , only to chat civilised .
- you could make very easy a section where posts don`t increase your postcount , in this way people from guilds can keep up with eachother without beeing encouraged to spend a lot of time chatting instead playing ingame . In this way you will remove the main problem you`re saying it`s spam ... not that user postcounts will affect you anyway- this new IM client could be used in the same time with the guild chat , and most of guilds who afford to buy it , already bought it , so it served its purpose

- i am pretty sure that everyone agrees with me that 95% of jsp users believe that removing the guild chat was a very very bad move . People from guilds aren`t online in the same time to keep up with eachother , in this way the guild spirit is gone , the price check help i could offer after i checked the posts made when i was offline won`t be there since i won`t be able to read offline messages in the new guild chat .
- usually ppl who pays you , should have at least the right not to be put in this situations , to be obliged to pay extra 1k fg for a guild chat , which was normally free . We paid it though , but
it`s anormal to remove a freebie and make us pay FOR A MUCH WORSE THING
- the notebox isn`t a good replacement for the guild private chat , cause there are allowing to post only one rank + admins
So ... my suggestion is this one : please bring back the old guild chat system , in a section where postcount is nerfed (or whatever is the right word , i`m not a native english speaker).
