I think that since essentially the Guild Topics is another thread (somewhat like a General chat for Guilds) & somewhat replacing the Guild Chats that were being misused, posts should still count.
I'm not sure if maybe this was already planned but Njaguar hasn't got around to doing it (we all know hes busy, especially lately with the nice updates!) or maybe he has a reason it doesn't count.
If you think it shouldn't, simply post why, if you have reasons to add to my reasons as to why it should be implented, post them too!
I know everyone has their opinion & I can see both sides.

No, Guild topics were created to get away from the spamfest that were guild chats.
