Okay, I actually have three of suggestions:
Maybe a bar at the bottom of d2jsp for ims like facebook, it sucks having to switch tabs. Or atleast if tabs, make some sort of notification like it blink or something.
When you right click a friends name, it should have an option "invite to messenger."
The people should be online or offline if they're on jsp or off jsp, not on messenger or off messenger.

Well. I just shelled out 1kfg for the instant messenger and I'm severely disappointed. Please don't take this personally but it is truly unbearable to use. When I purchased this messenger I was under the impression of something along the lines of facebook's messenger where you had a bar at the bottom for your chat log. But having to leave the window open to the chat page is pretty uncanny. Not to mention you have no notifications that someone has posted something in the chat other then a small beep (I think)... it would have been better if the guild chat threads were left open until this came out of the beta stages so guild owner's could communicate with their guild members about the messenger and try to collect funds to purchase it. Not all owner's will have 1kfg so easily and may take a group effort to arrive at that amount of FG.

Dido on everything Jizz said. Iso massive fixes plz.

No, Facebook does not have a REAL IM. It uses hacky web ajax, so it's not realtime, nor persistant. The d2jsp IM is a real time IM that uses a persistant connection. FB's method is extremely intrusive on network connectivity, and a HUGE waste of bandwidth and resources to accomplish "fake" IM capabilities.

Additionally, there is no way to make a browser "blink". Read the site announcement, a standalone downloadable client will eventually be available for various platforms.
