Ok to begin with, I know jack about how the mods run the site and im not gonna pretend i do but this seems like a good system.
I do alot of reports for signature violations and im noticing alot of repeated violations from the same people.(<May be redundant but i wanna be clear)
Now to get to what I was thinking

No. Its your own.
Your safe. You can post this along with it if you want, you have been 'ok'd'. ^^

To explain:
Only mods that can warn people will be able to view this not normal people(Or not this is njags decision after all)
But what I was thinking is because mods like to give 5-6 verbals sometimes before taking action(Especially on signature/avatar violations, no offense to any mod ofc)
instead of doing the above mentioned verbal system, have a visible strike system so other mods will know if that person had been verballed by another mod before and by clicking the star(Just like warn logs) you can see what the strike is for(This wont be as useful for sig/ava violations but it will be useful for spam/early bump/flaming, for the mods) so the same user isnt striked twice for the same thing. Also when a user gets to 3 strikes on any of the stars it constitutes a warn. The above examples in the picture are simply a rough draft, I thought it would be good to use the free space by the users' avatar to implement the system.
Let me know what you think jsp. Im aware of the numerous warn system altering suggestions but I figure this is a great one. Also, in the issue of fairness ill be nulling my vote. and please leave reasons if you vote no.
