Character Counter In Noteboxes Broken - Topic

I've checked the character count using other character counters and it does appear to be counting them correctly, but the max of 512 appears to be a lie. Would really love to see this fixed, or find out what the actual max is.

Edit: I just posted 465 chararacters in a continuous string in another notebox with no problem, so I still don't know what the problem is but I've gotten it many times

Some characters take up more than 1 space towards the total (they get converted to entities).
