what if every thread of urs that gets closed is kept track.and if u get so many... this will happen?? get this many... and this willl happen?

Couple things:
#1 - Clear up your idea, repost and make it into a poll.. This was dificult for me to understand\comprehend.
#2 - Some people change, but I do like the idea of punishing repititive spam abusers (rather than warn) - But there are other consequences.
#3 Id vote no - I make off topic threads once inawhile, but I wouldnt want to be affected.. People need to make off topic posts once in awhile, its completely normal..
#4 A variation of your post, maybe just stricter enforcement on spam control.

Maybe you could think of a diferent form of punishment and post that as a suggestion, see what kind of feedback you get.

although its not as much a form of punishment as it is Motivation to keep good attitudes in hopes of greater acts of good to come. That is If Jsp ReWarded the ppl. but i understand where ur coming from, i dont like to Fully complete a thought and make like ive figured it all out. i like to leave bits n peices open for more good ideais

i do think that if things whent this way there would have to be differnt areas of subjects that would lead to Closed threads , then we do right now. Limits basicly lol

then youd prolly get a warn for this thread... stuff liek this is posted almost daily in site suggestions and it gets trashed..

its up to mods to decide to close thread and give warn...

no.. not really.. in my opinion.. but i guess add a poll and we can find out shortly ... either way i saw a similar suggestion just like 2 days ago.. and a mod closed it with "mods do their jobs 2 cut spam and distribute warn so the system is fine just the way it is"

well make the poll well find out what jsp thinks soon enough

i doubt this will happen because then people who never sign on would continuesly win prizes because they aren't posting AT ALL lol. I think the best way to lower spam, would be to make a new type of Mod that ONLY has the power to close threads, and assign certain ones to certain realms so that every realm is closely monitored, and each thread that is closed is keept track of and once a poster has # threads closed, a mod can give them Warn %

No. Things can be closed because for the following reasons:

- S/a was resolved / caught the guy
- You needed an xfer and made a thread to request a mediator
- Lots more

These are good valid reasons which i think this reason will NOT happen
