Theres currently no one in place in the graphics forum with the time to take care of people that rip (steal) artwork.

It gets taken care of if the user is stealing something from someone within d2jsp, but there arent any rules about stealing from other sites.

But in my opinion, if someone on here is charging fg for a signature that was made for someone on another site, doesnt that qualify as scamming as well? Youre paying for a service that wasnt done by that person.

I feel if you can provide plenty of proof that the person stole the artwork from somewhere, that there should be the same consequences that would happen if they had stolen from within this site (i.e. locked, warned etc).

This goes for people that make changes to artwork, like taking watermarks off of things for people, or changing the name on a signature that they dont have rights to.

I agree with you. I feel this is just as bad as scamming someone on d2. I check the graphic section daily and know what you mean.

+ Most of us get like 250+ Fg's each signature.. That's way more than the average scam :/ ...

So ripping is just as bad as scamming if not worse...

Yeah, definitely. I have talked with some people about how it is around here regarding stolen artwork, and basically it comes down to: If it's not used on the site/made on the site, nothing can be done about it. But, people in the graphic section generally can't stand art theft and a lot of us are able to identify stolen stuff because we have seen it from other sites/tutorials etc. So we know a rip when we see it and can definitely provide the proof needed to mods to show that.
But, we get a lot of people posting stolen work from places like Deviantart, or other forum signature graphic related sites. It's really a bummer that nothing is done about it :\
