I think that in certain trade forums such as expansion west softcore ladder and expansion east softcore ladder, the 4 hour bump rule should be lowered.
4 hours is way too long and over 90% of the people in those forums early bump their topics anyway.
But not just those forums, also maybe a few other popular ones, such as europe, west non-ladder and east non-ladder...
30 minutes is still quite a long time and it can easily go to about page 20 by then in the popular forums, but not too quick that it will just be considered spamming.

This would just make it so that the 5% who follow the rules and do not early bump would have a chance at trading like everyone else does...

Im actually going to comment on this, the current rule itself is fine but zero tolerance mods are few
Many people dodge the early bump rule and bump constantly, whats the punishment? closing the topic so they can repost in 1 hour and do the same again
1 hour compared to 4? yeah it doesnt seem right but i suggest that early bumpers recieve a temporary suspension lasting from 2-4 hours for early bumping

Suggested, denied, will never happen, and understandably so. 4 hours is plenty.
