~Great way for active forum users, guild mates and friends to communicate.
~Refreshing JSP over and over doesn't become a habit.
~Gives JSP some style. B)

It would be a simple instant message system similar to what they have on myspace and facebook. You can add friends and even speak to guild members in a group of networked users.
Vote your opinion. =P

Does it require microphones?
The system i'm thinking of would be text based like AIM and MSN, it would just be scripted to JSP (like myspace and facebook).

Same. =P
I notice how Guild Forums on JSP seem to be a hassle in ways, having to refresh, go back and forth between trading/selling and chatting. If the system ran universally on any page accessible through JSP, then you would always be aware of your conversations as opposed to waiting or forgetting etc.

mirc is pretty easy
use the guides to set it up and then just use it
and its only writing just like msn or aim

The system I speak of would be scripted to JSP. You can talk direct chat with any number of friends and groups you've networked with as opposed to needing a separate program for it. If guilds started using mirc chat, then it would be fine however it seems way easier if it was bound to any page within the domain of JSP.
