Basically, I'm posting this because every day. I see people breaking rules w/ regard to spamming, too many in top 50, and early bumping and they do not get warned and threads do not get locked. I would like to see the rules enforced more aggressively, because it really ruins the site for people who do follow the rules. The only time I ever see these rules getting enforced is when a med is pmed w/ regard to the violation. Its basically the same handful of people that break these rules all the time, maybe if they saw they had something to lose by doing so, they would stop.
I'll also add w/ regard to spamming that people on this site spam because they want to have discussions amongst their peers in their own trading community. so maybe a way to do so w/out making 50 spam threads a day would be a good way to solve the spam problem. a spam sticky for instance, or possibly, some kind of scrolling chat window for each trade forum. (i know these things don't grow on e-trees. I'm just trying to throw out ideas to get people thinking about it.)
also/more importantly: turn off flood protection for people who have accounts older than one year (for example. maybe more or less) w/ 0 warn. i feel wronged that i have to suffer the inconvenience of flood protection because of spamming 12 year olds. i use this site to trade and flood protect hinders my ability to do so.
thanks for reading.

to clarify: I'm not saying that people who make one spam post on a thread should get warned for it. I'm saying people who make several spam threads a day should get a warned verbally to not do so. and should be given 10 % every time thereafter that they violate the rule. and again, it's a handful of people that cause the problem. if more aggressive action were taken against it. it would stop.
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=37492216&f=258&o=0#p245686072 any med care to tell me why this is locked? reason says too many off topic posts. they all look to be on topic imo.
