And also, there should be a "New Event" button next to "New Topic" in trading forums, which lets you create a new event -- and another button which lets you automatically search events filtered for the forum you are browsing ("View Events").

If you wanted all events, you can still do it normally via "My Events" at the top right.

This way, it makes it much easier for people to use, and far less complaining will result. Generally, when something is made simple, people tend to resist less, rather than when you just implement a change and only warn people via sticky (which by the way most people ignore).

Just an idea, if d2jsp is actually concerned about it's users' input.
