Question:
If you were doing a trade with someone, and they scammed in the past but are now unlocked, would you want to know this information before trading with them?


My suggestion is to add some way to identify scammers who have been redeemed and now unlocked. Perhaps add a new group called "Redeemed Scammers" or something like that.


Benefits:

• It's useful information - Personally, if I was trading with someone, I'd definitely want to know if they scammed in the past.
• Prevents scams - If someone is thinking about scamming, they will always know that even if they get unlocked, they can't just go back as a regular jsp user.
• Prevents re-scams - If someone is trading with someone who is in the "Redeemed scammer" group, people will know to be more careful with them. The redeemed scammer would usually go first, and the redeemed scammer will know the other user is probably taking screenshots since they know you scammed in the past.

No, they get a clean start if they get unlocked, and don't need to be condemned for past mistakes.

Gotta agree with the post above they worked hard for tag removal aint like its taken away after 1-2months of scamming, if they willing to put the effort in for a reprieval let em have the chance propally not ppl having biased opinions.

Apply this reasoning to a real life situation:

If someone commits a crime in real life but does their prison time, should their record just be wiped clean?

tough question here, I think that if they are being unbanned that they are gonna make a effort to be a honest member of this forum. And if not then they should be totally banned from the website.

There record aint wiped clean but it dont mean every tom,dick and harry on the street knows the important ppl who need 2 know will know so makes no difference to normal members.
