Currently in the guild wars general forum, there is no restriction on users with 30% warn or more like there is in other forums. I suggest that this function be added to that subforum. I've noticed quite a few users in the guild wars general forum that are over 30% warn or at 20% warn who are constant eye sores on the forum and this would help clean things up.

Example: The WoW general forums are set up that way, so once you hit 30% you cannot post in that sub forum anymore. You can still post in the trade forum though.
This has helped d2_hooked and myself and others keep the wow forum as clean as we can (though we can't fix it all)

Yay or nay.

Also, i don't know if this is how it works for the runescape forum, but it couldn't hurt them if it was.

Yes.

When I used to play Guildwars, I noticed the same thing... Got a bit irritating. :(

People with a high warn percentage just spam or early bump. I really don't think this rule would change anything. Sorry, but I voted "nay".

i agree it does help to keep those who only spam and flame from being a disruption in certain forums.

You might as well say that people with warn should just not be able to post at all. Why limit it to one forum? The problem isn't only with people that have warn percentages, but that the forums need more moderators. There is an overflowing amount of spam and early bumps, but there just aren't enough moderators to close every thread which contains spam. It's very bad in Diablo II Expansion: USEAST Non-Ladder trading as well. I understand your point and the thread creator's, but assuming that someone will spam due to their warn percentage just isn't the way to fix the problem. I think the answer lies in 24 hour suspensions for those who spam...If people are punished for spamming by using suspensions, then they will learn their lesson. If we go by warn percentages and they aren't allowed to post, then people will create multis!

mediators? do you mean moderators? maybe if some of you guys took a few mins and looked at the site rules about spam and flames and how to report topics we would not have so many problems.

all you need to do is report it and not add to the spam by posting in those topics. we have some members who dont care to follow the site rules and enjoy spamming and flameing others, if your not one of those and want to have a good site then you would help keep the site clean and spam /flame free.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
