Ok so lots of times I have deleted messages that I forgot I needed to keep. This is my fault for not being careful of course but this suggestion would help a bunch.


Being able to lock messages...



For example:

When selecting all messages and sending them to the trash folder, the locked message will remain in your inbox.



You can lock/unlock at any time and a little lock icon or something will appear next to the message.



I came up with this idea because when I was texting on my phone I would delete my inbox but the locked messages would still remain.
I thought this would be a great addition to jsp.

You could just move them to a different folder.

Exactly. Just create an Archive folder or something like that and move important PMs into there.

Yea that's what I used to do.
Now I just use the archiving feature to download all of my pm's before I clear my inbox.

Locking/unlocking seems a bit to much, archiving is just as simple.

I think i saw this suggestion a couple days ago, although i voted yes it would be very useful. Yes, you can archive them, or file it in another folder, a certain group of people who PM A LOT it's a lot of extra work to go through different folders to find the correct PM, open it, copy it, close it, go to the original PM, paste it and send it.

You could just lock it in your inbox so it doesn't delete.

I don't spend too much time on the site suggestion but I haven't seen it before!

Just make a new folder and move them to that folder.
