Just been reading through the scammer accs, and been following the profile links.

Most topics in that section are genuine, and after following links to profiles etc, it seems many people try to get rid of the scammed for fg etc as soon as they can.

My suggestion is, why not just lock these people as soon as possible, instead of waiting for proof etc

At least this way, they can't ditch their forum gold...

alright, so get this. you have 20k fg and some rand that joined yesterday says you scammed him u = auto lock + ban? Nty

urm lol, obviously common sense kicks in...........

edit: and who said anything about a ban? maybe you should read what i said..

locking them fast means they can't do anything with the scammed fg... so they'll either have to pay up or leave..

its good the way it is.

well.. the thing with this is. if you get auto locked.. people would abuse the system and accuse random people or accuse people they don't like.

All members of this site are innocent until proven guilty. You can do your part to trade safely by using mediators or by taking all the appropriate screenshots to make the process easier.

well, me, and loads of people i know, have been scammed of quite a bit lol

and all the time waiting for the people to get locked etc.. they've just made away with the fg, either muled it to a multi or traded it for items...

edit: i didn't say auto locked, i just said why dont mods lock people faster while waiting for the proof etc......

and about the accusing people you dont like.. obviously you'd need to provide some proof, like in game and pms, just limited proof..

and obviously if the 'scammer' didn't scam, he can testify with screenshots of his own

While it would be nice, there is the off chance that someone is trying to ruin someones name/just being a prick. Njag can't run around locking everyone that is accused.

Without proof you have no case. I could say that you scammed me right now but you didnt and with what your saying you would be locked.
