I think that for an extra added option, you should be able too add, if you want to allow the public to reply on your personal blog, or keep it within your friends list.

Some people make blogs looking for answers from other users, but some being lazy decide not too pm them and say, "Hey, ADD ME TOO FRIENDS LIST!" Just for the short reply. A PM could do the same thing, but then others couldn't give the opinions on the reply.

So the real suggestion is:

[ ] - Add a "Public Response" option

[ ] - DO NOT add a "Public Response" option
