Not sure if it has been suggested yet, but I'm thinking it has.

I feel a user should be able to change their vote within 5-10 minutes or another set amount of time on a poll.

Some people accidentally vote for the wrong option, and some users change their minds after they hear other people's opinions on the matter.

It would be implemented by a "Retract Vote" option which is visible for the set amount of time, which allows you to view the options and choose your answer once again.

Not sure if this would affect site load as a user can have their fun with retracting and voting over and over again, but maybe make it so that you can only do it once to prevent that from happening.

[x] when you submit it you gotta be pretty fucking aware what you`re putting your vote on.

Tho i would have liked this approach when bush was elected a few years back.
