I used to have a suggestion up about a skateboarding sub forum
which I'm asking to be closed but can be seen here:
http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=18085497&f=258 (have been bumping that for over a year and only 28% said no!)... but after some comments and more thought -- I figured it would make more sense to have one for all extreme sports such as the following:
Skateboarding, bmx, wake boarding, snowboarding/skiing, rollerblading, dirt biking, atv, snowmobiling, mountain biking and I'm sure there's a few I didn't name that can be there as well. That's just to get the basic feel for it -- and show there would be a lot to discuss, etc. Almost everyone I talk to on jsp do one of these extreme sports and would love for the forum to be implemented, it's up to all of us extreme sport loving people to show that making this sub forum would be worth their time!!
This would obviously go under the
Sports Coliseum forum.
A little list that can be talked about here:~ they can bet here if they wanted.. for example, x-games. who comes #1 #2 #3 whoever is closest to being right gets fg, you need to buy in or something. (rough idea but it would probably happen)
~ for the "arguments about favorite pro athletes" people can easily just make a poll... and then vote/discuss.
~ they can post videos of themselves or favorite sport clips.
~ sporting equipment/set-ups
~ trivia (this can have bets involved or just a pay-out quiz like the ladder slasher ones)
~ advise on what to buy for a beginner or even a pro for that matter
~ how long have you done the sport for?
~ their first trick landed
~ local parks... I can go on for days to be completely honest... and ESPECIALLY if the outdoors/fishing got implemented... well you know where I'm going with that...
Note - If you have something to add to this, I'll try to edit it in here if you tell me in time.
