Theres a lot of skepticism about incorporating instant messaging into d2jsp.

lets weigh out the +'s and -'s

for one.. it would be easier to scam using instant messaging. but would it?

making it illegal to do trades through IM would enable people to strickly chat among friends and peers. nothing more.

people who dont use vent (a prety wide population of jspers) would find that IM is a great alternative when you need to be frequently chatting to someone for whatever reason.


now. if that doesn't seem plausible, then enabling chatting for friends / guild would be quite ideal in my opinion. IF chatting with random people is too risky and causes too much corruption (which it wouldn't would if it were introduced properly into the system), then chatting with people on you F-list and guild would open up so many new windows of opportunity.


not only this... but it would keep this website from dying..

I think it might reduce spam if there was like chatrooms ect or something not a bad idea but no useful rly more of jus something to do

having some sort of IM interaction would bring a lot of ppl together on this site.

ofc its just something to do but it has its benefits.
