Okay, so i noticed a while back that blogs are now only to be allowed to be posted on by your friend list.

So, why not open the blogs to everyone else? I remember it used to be able for anyone. and i have no problem with that.
I mean if your going to make a blog readable by everyone might as well allow them to post on it.
Upsides:
More people talking with one another and allowing for the community to get to know each other better

Downsides:
None?

I voted "Yes," I was unaware only "Friends" could post on your blogs... I was unaware the blogs were even public 'til I followed it and accidently discovered that!

Why do you think there were no downsides, considering it was changed?

The blogs were completely worthless before, because everyone just posted "gz" and other crap there.
Also, if you honestly care about someone's blog, and if that person wants you to post there, you might as well be in his friendlist.

Agreed, there were way too many spammers in user blogs. If you truly care just add the person. Why reform something that works.
