it limits the graphics artist to no end, it makes pop outs nearly impossible. im not saying we need a 1 megabit sig but at least double what it is now. 150 kbs is great. the signature size is fine 400x150 is great this is my only sig thats actually max size. i usually go with a 350x150 or something. but yea. seriously it needs to be more.

I mean if you have dial up you shouldn't be multitasking d2 and d2jsp. And I'm pretty sure you can disable looking at signatures, so that can be that much of a problem.

Voted no, i would rather have sigs the way they are instead of having better ones with worse site load.

well with all the "donations" Njaguar gets you'd think he could get better.

70 kb is really enough.
as long as you don't have animated pictures with many frames in your signature, you won't exceed the 70 kb.
if you exceed the 70 kb, save your signature in jpeg format with lower quality. the quality loss usually isn't visible.

d2jsp cannot do anything about the siteload that is generated by files hosted on other sites - except restricting the size.

over 70 kbs. no animation. jpeg format would make it useless.

you can save compressed png pictures ;)
in this picture, the compression level seems to be very low.

Not necessary, 70 kb is really enough to have a pretty good looking signature.

elevating the compression level would give an unclean boundary
