Now I have been a member of JSP almost 3 years and in general I am pleased with the Moderators. BUT! I think it is necesarry that moderators reveal them selves when they close a topic. This is because the user of the certain topic then got a chance to appeal the case.

This would be some sort of selfcontrol of the JSP staff.

I do not ask for a long written reason why the moderator closes the topic. It could just be "closed". But then it is possible to see who did it.

Kind Regards

When a thread gets closed then it's possible to see the reason why it was closed, but this is only for the topic creator.

It is not necessary to know the closer as you can pm any moderator, that moderates that forum.

This is why there is the reason why the topic got closed.
At button of the thread you can see it, if it was your thread.
It gives link to trade rules, and also explain everything why the thread got closed.
If the member has problem with it, he / she can pm to ANY moderator who is led the subforum where the thread got closed.

Its not necessary who closed the thread, if there is a mistake then any moderator who led those section can correct it, or if it was
closed correctly then any moderator can explain why in pm.

I know the reason shows up. I dont complain about 99% of the topics that gets closed because the reason is valid.
Anyhow I still see it as good mannered to show who did it.

If you get a arrested by the police you actually have a right to see their police ID.

I cant see why revealing a mod should harm any.

And it would actually give users a chance to complain about a mod if the same mod makes mistakes over and over again.

Well, the threads are not always closed immediatly as you reported it.
I mean it can takes minutes or more, if there are not enough mod team member is online.
Then someone starts to close threads, and post in everywhere: *closed*
Dont you think all topics are getting bumped, and all first page would fill with closed threads.
Its noneed, and dont see any reason to do it.

If you have problem with a closed topic, then you can pm to anyone who led that section.
Not important which mod closed it, we are a team, and if we do mistake then the other can correct it,
or if we didnt do mistake, then the other can explain it why right action was taken.

This right here, that would really suck to see the first 3 pages full of closed spam topics/service topics.

No, I dont have a troubles with closed topics. But I made a suggestion in the right forum :) And yes I do see some kind of trouble associated with this. That is excatly why I posted it.
Maybe we could find a solution all together.

But I still see it as good mannered and after all trusted should be role models.
