IDEA: A new button that simply states "REQUEST CLOSING"


Basically, what I'm thinking of, is a new button.
for my example, I have selected the HC's Best Items thread from Ladder Slasher.

In that thread, you'll see along the top the number of views, the number of
replies, and the Track Topic option. Now, say you post up a thread, a suggestion thread,
possibly, and you've gotten several suggestions to add to your suggestion, or you think
of something else, and you'd like to post all over again. This would be sort of like the
request mediator button, but with a different purpose: To request that the tread be closed.

would be great, but won't happen, would be abused, and would be too much work for mods, imo.
