Ever since the User Blogs was ravaged, there has been a lot of rands that have invaded the Political and Religious Discussion among other subforums, bringing with them large amounts of spam and a general disregard for the opinions and feelings of others. These malcontents have reduced relatively placid forums the PaRD to little more than a spamming and flaming arena.

My suggestion to alleviate this problem is to make a separate subforum, possible named the Battle Floor or the Spam Arena, strictly for these /b/tards to frequent. This would ensure that subforums like the PaRD are free to discuss (in this case, politically) relevant topics. Then once people are reduced to flaming at each other, the threads that would typically be locked and would clutter the PaRD would instead be moved to the Battle Arena or deleted. This would help people moderate each other's activities, so instead of flaming at each other, they can simply agree to take it to the Battle Floor and work out their differences.

Thoughts, anyone?

there is a reason this forum was removed, why should +1s be allowed?

how about we remove post count? theres obviously no reason for rands to post if they cannot increase their penis size

I see your point, but User Blogs was also basically a +1 forum, this separate forum would draw the rands from respectable places of discourse, like the PaRD.

And there's an even bigger reason why it should be reinstated. Unless you're going to go on a mass banning spree, this is the only reasonable way to solve the problem.

I would like to see this happen if the post count didn't go up with every post but I really don't think this will happen.
