Well, the new "have to be friend rule" kinda doesn't work very well.

I made alot of friends on UB, but I didn't add them.

The new rule should either be revised or completely taken off, imo.

I'd just like to see how people feel about UB's new rule.

I'm trying to brainstorm ideas, because I still liked to talk to people on there that weren't my actual friends list.

I don't really use the UserBlogs, but this rule seems stupid to me.
When I do post blogs, which isn't often, I want people to be able to reply freely...That's why I'd post the blog in the first place.
I don't think this rule helps anyone (in terms of general users), since as far as I know, groups of friends don't usually go UB looking for their buddies blogs, only to find too much spam. You can always find blogs in your friend's profile.

Then again, I"m not a mod..maybe all the spam was an uber pain to sift through.

It's not about the friends you've made or the good times you've had.

It's about the forum not being used for it's purpose.

I understand what it is used for.

I would usually just post when it is my b'day, a holiday, or if I got a new thousand posts.

But now if I do post, I don't get "congrats" or anything.

It is just screwed up.

I also agree with Midnight Rider.

I don't know how hard it was to go through all of the spam and such.

It's loads better now. I don't think it should be changed back.

I sure did, and I quit a good while before the UB was fixed.
