If someone gets scammed out of xx fg, and all proof is sent to a med / trusted...scammer gets locked until fg is paid back to said person etc.

why not reimburse the scammed person with the fg(providing 100% proof is there). and said scammer pay what is owed to JSP in order to get unlocked?

I see a lot of poeple that get discouraged with trading due to getting scammed and having to battle it out with someone over fg.
I understand it is not JSP's responsibility to do this and i'm quite sure the idea has been tossed around.

Only for the reason being, that if someone decides to pay back their scams, the person that got scammed, get double their fg back.
And also, these funds would come from? Remember not even paul has an unlimited supply of fg.

The suggestion states that if a person decides to pay off their scams, then the fg will go to JSP, not to the user.

People would make Multi's, fake a scam and be earning FG out of the system.

I suspect scammers would repay scams using the exact same methods as are used now, but simple pay it directly to JSP.
Where they are paying it has no effect on how they are getting it.

I nulled my vote since I don't know the inner working of the fg economy.



What sort of scenario would allow you gain back more fg.... since whatever fg you gained would be balanced with whatever fg you lost in the locked account?

You could fake scams with you and a friend if this was implemented.
Get a friend to make a bunch of Multi's. Make a screnario that he scammed you 1k FG. Prove it and make it look like it really happened. His gold gets locked - So far noone has actually been scammed or lost anything.
And then the system would refund you 1k FG.

Oh, so you would have to fudge the evidence a bit, in such a way that the fg is not lost in the process.
