we should implement a system where the number of accusations against a person can be a part of their profile? This way someone doesn't need to be proven guilty (the system here is a tad bit slow) and we can use # accusations'a against a person as a way to decide whether or not to give first in a trade.

I've seen alot of people get scammed by individuals who do it as a habit and receive multiple accusations but they can continue their scams and often do since it takes a while for em to get caught.

Think of it as the warning system that mods use but instead, it can be used by any registered user to register a complaint against a user. And that log of complaints will simply be a table of data listing who filed a complaint against the user, and for what reason. This log would be visible and accessible in the users profile.

so for example if I filed a complaint against some guy called Mr X, Mr X's profile would have a link to a list of complaints against them and you would see something like

Complaint by: duffman316 (registration date of duffman316)
Reason: Mr. X Didn't pay for a shako that he bought from me
Link: To the scammer accusation thread made by duffman316 against MrX

for each entry of an accusation against the accused~

No verdict is necessary and we can determine by the number of accusations against a person whether or not we should give first when trading with them.

People would just abuse it and say everybody they traded with scammed them.

It wouldn't really work.

no.
people were scammed mostly because they spared time to call a mediator.
use a mediator if you don't want to get scammed at all. this is clearly adviced in trade rules.

Note: All trading is at your own risk. We cannot and will not refund any lost items. USE A MEDIATOR. Also, trading mass amounts of runes / items that are obviously dupes will result in a warn / possible suspension / and the loss of forum gold rights.

there is no good excuse for NOT reading/obeying the official trade rules which mature adult people should have. tongue.gif

No, system would get abused.
Innocent until proven guilty, there's a lot of false accusations.
