I can provide a picture of it already having been done by Cory and I, however the formats copywritten so unfortunately I can't show you that part. It's not that hard, just takes a bit of time.

Here's more or less how it works.

1. When people register on any forum site, they are given two categories of IP addresses. Their static registration IP address and their Post-Reg IP address(es).

2. We had ours configured so that any registration IPs that clashed, all accounts after the original were automatically banned and a signal was sent up noting the first account so that could be manually addressed as well.

3. Any POST registration IP addresses that clashed would be noted but not automatically banned, that way you knew the culprits but could speak with them first. This is amazing in dealing with accounts registered off proxys.

4. And the best part, this was located under the admin sub-forum section, so it didn't cluster up very much. Code it under the mediator queue and it's extremely easy to use from there.

I can give you advice if you can't figure it out, however as I said, we had the exact format copywritten so I can't give you a copy of how ours was done.
LMK what you think.

I believe I understand this correctly.
No.
2 or more people are allowed on the same IP. The rule is 1 account per person, not 1 account per household.

You can manually override it. It would simply mean that people, for a change, would actually have to listen to the rules and get approval for a second account on any given IP.

Zz. You just want the picture? It'll explain it better.

Was already addressed. I'm having people find the pictures I need as we speak.

You do not need approval for a second account though...

Looks like somebody may need to go back and re-read the rules. I can provide names of people this has happened to.

Anyhow, here's the picture, edited for content. As you can see, it auto reports. All the underlines are the direct links to the admin section of the site that would allow you to change the users' settings and unban/etc them if they had approval.

If there are any questions about the picture, let me know and I'll gladly answer and explain them.

Looks like you do.
I can guarantee you. You DO NOT need to ask an Admin for approval to have a second account on 1 IP.
Edit : Anyway, this looks too complicated and not needed. My vote stands as a no.

So I make an account on this Ip, and then my "14 brothers" make accounts on this Ip.
Yea, okay.
It's one account per person, however if you have numerous people on one single IP, different peolpe or not, you have to ask permission.
Otherwise I could go around reporting every person I know who has a sibling at their house and they'd all be locked without question under suspicion of multi.

Once again. The rule is 1 account per person, doesn't matter if they are on the same IP or not. One account, per person, at all times.
As long as they do not transfer FG amonst themselves or post in the same Trading topics, they will be fine.

If you do not believe what I am telling you, ask a Mod. They will tell you the exact same thing I am.
