I believe a warn should be given to someone who just goes on pressing report post on the posts that don't need to be reported, and they go on doing it for any other posts that follow ,thats all they really do around the site , some people try to race reach other and press the report button first so that the other person gets the message "this post has already been reported" , putting a lot of strain on the moderators , something like crank calling 911 cos u feel like doing somethin.... something like pulling the chain in the train just cos u want to take a leak and can't do it cos the train is moving..

Do you think this should be implemented?

Overdoing something can really not be ignored in my opinion..

Im no moderator i know , and i don't know if every post report reaches them or not.. but there should be some penalty for over-doing the report post button..

i spoke to balakai and he re-opened it because it belongs there ,many thanks to him.. he has better judgement, but my thread was closed due to "Spam" , its not spam when you're posting the mod characteristics and different class skills in diablo 2 discussion.. - and re-opened again , report post is meant for posts that go against the rules.. its not a toy.

and some one reported his post, just cos he said "Your signature is 480 pixels over size, Reported" - but not sabine's cos theyre scared they will get a 30% fresh warn for reporting a senior moderator's post.. a person should think twice before reporting every post he sees.. and the only way is thru a warn!

and some people report each other's post cos they have problems with themselves and are enemies... report post is - not a toy or a revenge button..

ya, but prolly not on first offence, first maby a pm, then on like 5+ a warn should be issued

I think an initial warning isn't out of the question, it seems you have to do a lot to earn a warn on here.

voted yes threads are getting reported to much for no reason all it is doing is wasting time for mods cause then they have to go and look at a thread that has been reported for no reason
