So my idea here, is to just have an activation bubble when ANY thread in your topic tracker gets a reply that isn't from you.
I thought through the pro's and con's of the idea and came short for con's, but there are still some.

Here is my idea on what it would look like:



Now the pro's and con's were fairly easy to work out.

* Would not hurt the site load in any way -- even though people sometimes have 10+ tracked topics, its a small statistic to take note on, and it wouldn't be any harm for what i can see.
* It helps to keep up with trade topics, suggestions, as well as can help guild members communicate easier in their threads with faster more reliable replies.



* If someone, for example, has a "What Are You Listening To?" thread tracked, there are replies every few minutes or so, so their would always be a "#" next to their tracked topic link.
* Someone causing trouble could just track hundreds of topics, just for this purpose (could be noticed by admins and punished for).

shure i like. but maby choose which ones to add the bubble to cus in my guild chat if i leave for more than 5 mins, there will be a new reply would get anoying if im gone for a day and i got 100+ in the bubble lol. but say i just check it to track like you said trade topics and suggestions, then thats fine

yeah, and you would only get a +1 for every thread, if there were multiple replies in one thread it would only show +1 for that thread -- no need +1,000's lol
