I understand that the mods have alot of responsibility and alot of people demanding their services, but there is no reason mods should be dealing with spammers by locking the entire thread. Deal with the spammers individually. Send them warning PMs or just warn them flat out.

In this topic I was having a nice discussion with jjarv and all of a sudden the thread closes? What for?

This is annoying. I don't want to open up a whole new topic so the spammers can just spam it up all over again.

It happens all the time that a spammer will get an entire topic closed and receive no repercussions. It makes no sense to punish everyone and allow the people ruining it for everyone to get away.
