This is what my suggestion is

basically i would want a user setting so then i can view all other users posts like if it was in a code box

Ex : lets say i were to view a topic but it was filled with large images and other stuff

it would take awhile to load it for me since my current labtop is old/slow (would be worse for users with dial-up)

with this new setting all the images wouldnt load (this would be the same for other stuff as youtube / large letters and numbers / bold / center / Etc)

would be much easier to view the posts and look at while images or videos i would want to look at

post your reason on why or why not you would like to see this

It's not whether or not you need it, it's whether or not the whole site would benefit from it. And the site would indeed benefit from it.

either F3 (find) and type the username account in who's post you're interested in reading
or to avoid the loading time for images, disable them in your browser's settings

but wouldn't hurt if it were implemented..atm null vote as it's a lot of work and not a top priority
