I mean honestly.
With some blogs, we made mistakes and don't want the info out there anymore.
With other blogs, we posted up for fun and they got closed quickly...
With MOST blogs, they are already getting spammed for no reason, and at random times.

I just think it would be best that IF everyone CAN read our blogs, we should be able to control what blogs are kept/deleted.

I think these should be managed in a way similiar to pictures.
You can have it so ONLY your friends see the pictures, and when you don't want a picture (blog) up anymore, you can delete it!

I am sure there are grander and better arguements, but overall... We NEED to have the choice to delete old blogs or not.
The alternative? Well I don't see any real arguement for keep unwanted blogs, up. No one is arguing to keep unwanted blogs up, but more so than naught there are people wanting to be able to delete their old blogs.

Thank about it.

Blogs add to your postcount.
What if someone kept making blogs and deleting them? Who controls that.

Also, you can hide your blogs in your profile.

imo there should only be a way to remove it from the Personal Blogs list @profile.. and not to delete the post.. just that its not shown @profile anymore

Just make blogs not add to your post count!

[x] No.

Don't post something if you are going to regret it later, simple.

People will be making the blogs for post counts anyway? Regardless of being able to delete or not.

But you would have to be a complete nab, to make blogs just to add to the postcount anyway, when you could just post on others. I don't see this as a valid arguement. Either way the MODs shoudl be controlling this anyway?
But there are always people who would like to delete blogs to keep the most important ones up, and to just remove the old nonsense that they may have posted over a year ago.

Hiding the blogs on your profile doesn't solvethe problem.
As a matter of fact it is more of a hinderance, because FRIENDs look at the profile more than randoms, do. And FRIENDs are most likely the ones who want to see the BLOGs. And like myself, I have a blog up about FCR/FHR etc breakpoints that I would like everyone to see... But others that I only want FRIENDs to see, and others that can be deleted all together.

If they are they forever, how do you know you will regret it later?
This isn't making a life based decision, and your claim is rediculous to think it should be counted as such.
Either way there are multiple fixes/changes you can do to other components of JSP; ie: pictures, signatures, profiles, NAMECHANGES, and more that don't allow you to stay constant and to revise who one is... BLOGs should be no different.
The only reason I am hiding my blogs right now, is due to some random old BLOGs I posted up months ago, under a different name (namgehange).
