Hey everyone!

I just thought about something, you are not able to edit older posts, which is good as it is since then you cannot edit out what deals you agreed to and such. But I think this could be worked on a bit more. How about us being able to ADD something after a post has been made, if you see you forgot something and such. This would probobly help alot with all the double topics created. There could be an automatic timestamp for when it was added and all, like this:

Orig post:
blablabla

Added 2009-01-15:
I forgot this, I want it this way

Added 2009-01-16:
No longer need

Might be hard to do, I do not know. But I think it would help to keep the number of topics and posts down.

Also, for my second idea. How about making a "Bump" feature that do not create a post. It just bumps the topic, this should lower the load on the server and reduce posts made. This combined with the adding thing would make trade topics consist of only 1 orig post with alot of things added, and then bids from people under.

So, what do you think about this?

And yes, I just realized I pressed the wrong thing and didn't make it a Poll, sorry for this.

you have 30 minutes to edit your post after you created it. after the 30 minutes, you will have to wait 4 hours until you may add another post. longer edit time is a privilege for members++ and higher - and this will not changed.
longer editing time could be abused by scammers...

Well did you read my post? I talked about editing in the manner of things be added to the post. Not being able to actually delete anything. The original should still be there, just that you can add timestamped lines after in the manner I posted smile.gif

hm, so you mean just adding lines to the post, not editing existing content? that could work.

Exactly, would make it less of a mess in trade topics and such. Would make people post less.
