I recommend that D2jsp General Help Site Suggestions subforum users compile a public index of njaguar's past descisions on site suggestions in order to avoid redundancy and improve communication with the higher ups of D2jsp.
    Required information:
  • Hyperlink to the text where njaguar's original quote can be found.
  • A quote of njaguar's reply from the last post of the thread.
  • The poll from the first post of the thread, including its title, options, and results.
  • A brief description from the original thread that identifies the suggestion if the poll question is insufficient to give the reader its gist without entering another thread.
  • For clarity and ease of use, please provide no more than three decisions per post.

I have included the following examples of three rulings on site suggestions by njaguar:

Every topic and post is saved and preserved. If you have the link, you can view it. If not, search for it on google with criteria.

Even google limits results back to 10 pages of results. Paging back through such is a tremendous tax on any sql server, and not worth the site load, when it's much easier for you to just search based upon criteria in an engine that has it all cached anyway.

Sorry, I have no plans to change this.

This will not happen for security reasons. People already ignore the popup as it is.

Hey, lets add an option when you select all tracked topics you can set them all to 30 day's automaticly (or add the never stop tracking option) because if you have a big list it's irritating to update it while you can actually help in the General help or Scammer Accusation.

add it (only add one of them)
yes add the never stop tracking (no for the other) 80.00% (8 Votos)
yes add the auto update all of them (no for the other) 10.00% (1 Votos)
no for both 10.00% (1 Votos)
null 0.00% (0 Votos)
Total de Votos: 10

Ok I noticed that a new scammer accusation pops out every couple of minutes. To minimize this why don't we have an automatic Forum Gold Mediation System. What this system does is it holds fg temporary until both sides are satisfied with the trade.

Ex:- Lets say someone wants to trade their perfect Griffons for 500fg. The buyer who will be paying the seller 500fg would send the 500fg to a Mediation Bank. This bank holds the fg.The seller then sends the Griffon to the buyer. Once the buyer confirms that he received the item and seller confirms that he sent the item, the bank automatically transfers the fg to the seller.

The Feedback:-
The first thing happens is the buyer sends 500fg to the bank.
Once the seller sees that 500fg is in the mediation system, he sends the item to the seller.
When the seller and buyer both confirm that they are satisfied, they click accept and 500fg is transferred to the seller
If one side does not accept (the buyer sends 500fg to the bank but does not receive item), he flags the system and takes the necessary screenshots etc and threatens the scammer that he will post it if he does not send item. The scammer has no choice because lets say he decides not to give the item, he has his 500fg sitting in the reserve which he won't be able to retrieve so technically he lost the 500fg unless proven innocent by the moderators when the scammer accusation is posted.

The good thing about this system is forum gold is easily returned to the owner in cases of a scamming attempt. Wheres without the system a person can run away with fg and start scamming alot of people before he eventually gets locked. If the system goes wrong (one side does not accept) then there is a scam attempt and the scammer wont get his item/ fg back until investigation or until he gives up what he owes.

Should there be a FG Mediation System
Yes 40.91% (9 Votos)
No (Why?) 59.09% (13 Votos)
Total de Votos: 22

Sorry, won't happen like this. We had a system like this once before, and it was a huge mess. Users would "forget" to tick the box, and the fg would get stuck for long periods of time, and people would try and trick people into ticking the box BEFORE they got the item (scam), people would refuse to tick the box and keep the item and gold, etc etc etc.

No, use a mediator. Thanks

Quote (New Emoticons To Make Trading)
Even More User Friendly

Quote (wappa @ Tue, 14 Oct 2008, 11:49)
If it's easy to add new emoticons to site, i would love to see different kind of scs as emoticons.
It would help traders explaining what graphics their scs are in, since people have become partly elitists
who want to collect all matching sets. Also emoticons about different ring graphics could be very nice.

What do you think?

Quote (njaguar @ Wed, 15 Oct 2008, 10:42)
Sorry, will not be doing this due to copyright issues and not wanting to have to plaster copyrights all over for images that are not owned by d2jsp.

I think Anybody who is a donor (as in pure donor, not bought fg) should be placed in that group, and get slight benefits for it.
Nothing major, but enough inclination to get more people to donate

You could say these for possible benefits:
10 seconds off the flood filter control
Extra pictures in post (1-3 nothing major!)
5 or 10 extra PM's in Inbox
Extra Title Features (maybe implement 1 or 2 title features available only for donors)
Longer time to edit posts (an extra 10 minutes or so)

These are just some examples, as you can see really do not give any truly unfair advantages to donors, but does make it a bit cooler to be one smile.gif. I feel that if donors had more to it then just having stars or donor forum, MANY more people would be inclined to donate.

sort of like how when you donate to kids in africa they send you tshirts and pictures.
Let me know your guys' thoughts, i felt this would be a good move on Njaguars part, and helps the donors slightly
