I have a question regarding spam... Specifically at night (where I live which is east coast, USA).

I'm back in D2 now, and in the USEast Ladder Softcore trading section of D2JSP, there is a TON of spam going on very late at night, into the early AM of the next day. I was just wondering what kind of "shifts" there are on JSP as far as tagged members go that are able to close reported threads. It's just impossible to trade when you get 10-20 threads per page that are just spam. I post a thread, literally 10-20 seconds later, it's on page 2, or 3.

I've brought this issue up many times in the past and it seems that nothing has changed. I know I'm asking a lot considering JSP is a rather large site. But considering the amount of tagged members there are, I would expect a little more control. I mean I stay up until 2-4am EST and it's just an ongoing issue. Sometimes, I can't even keep up with how many threads I have to report. It gets REALLY bad sometimes.

If they should start to warn people that spammed I may think, the ammount of spam topics would be reduced.

If the spam topics are just closed they are just doing new ones and it will become more spam topics.

They log on whenever available. We are not on the clock.

Also I believe that the "trader" tag (Trusted/Mediator) has nothing to do with being able to close threads. They need to have a group other than "Members" (Ie. Moderator) to do that.
