I think it's semi-obvious that the Computer Forum is not a "heavy" posting section, but people come with real problems and other users will try and help them.

The problem is because of it's light moderation people will use it as a place to spam.

A current example would be : greapper2

Other days have other instances of which people spam for the +1 or just because they think it will go un-noticed.

It would be really helpful if we could get more moderation in that subsection, in terms of someone who is currently a mod and has an interest in computer building, or maybe allow another user group to close threads that are spam etc. in that section.

Either way, the forum needs help in its moderation.

Edit : Also, reporting the post doesn't get action quick enough, typically you need to PM a mod or else it could be 24 + hours before something is done.

just report it via the button and mod's will take care

Tried it, thats why this thread exists, typically speaking mods will take up to 24 hours before a response happens.

A good example would be one day a thread got to over 60 replies of just LOL and +1's and because I used Report it took over 1 hour before I finally just gave up and PM'd a mod (Paparick ofc) to handle it.

Edit : Believe me Patt, if I beleived this sub section was being fairly moderated (As in given equal attention as other subforums) I would never have made this thread.
