Do you think we should have a Patrol unit on the site.

Just people who can close topics, and report anything bad to mediators to take higher action.

There member group would be Patrol

They dont get any more special privelages then closing topics and help keep the site clean.
Im on her hours a day, i mainly DO RS forums @ work haha.
Im sick of MASS spam topics.

And patrol possibly should be able to give warnings, or warn %.

@ first i would say they must pm me the user a verbal warning, then if another post is mad that same day with spam, they will recieve a % warn.

no. you know, mediators cant close topics. only moderators can do this. also every person can report topics. I dont see the point on this.

Because there isnt enough being closed, and i meant moderators not mediators my bad.
It is a good idea, there is 1000000 spam topics a day on here.
Why would you not want someone who can just close a spam topic??
you report a post and it goes on for 1 hour then gets closed...

just use report post button and move on.

We have these groups, they are Members++ and Trade Assistant. We have the report button for a reason, use it

and as said Mr Wyckalas, just use the report button, there's a mod Q to close topics. Or you can give them a big list via PM.

Maybe extend the Moderator groups' power (Member++ and higher) to available close topics at more place.
