This is what i had in mind:
Ive made this topic to break the illegal bumping, wich lot's of members do

But as i posted that suggestion, i heard some intresting comments/opinions from other members.

so this is what im proposing:
you just have to wait for the next bump to post that the item has been sold.

after 30minutes, you cant use the edit button anymore.
so, if your capeable to edit your posts 4h long.
then you wont have that back to back posting and such.

and then your topic wont get closed

Your opinion about that?

if you can edit for 4 hours then it would increase the possiblities of scams

back-to-back, when you are only replying "yourself" is not allowed within the 4 hours.

The example in that quote is not back-to-back post but an option we have, that doesn't count as an early bump.
I don't think it should be removed, people will bid on the same item all the time, if you can't update that it has been sold.

So I don't think it's a good idea and it should be as it is.

if you can edit your 1st post, you can obviously post that the item is sold.

or just remove it from the list.

Ye, but only members++ and higher have that ability and it would be easly abused if everyone has it.

hmm, don't know if i'm getting this wrong, but just ask the person who bought the item to post his offer in the topic?

then you'll have it like this:

#1 your post shaka + um
#2 the buyers post "need um offer 5 fg"
#3 your post: t4t, um is sold to XXXXXX, shaka is still FT

in this way your topic won't be closed since you aren't double posting

Why would you even post it then,
Because this would be a solution against early bumping?
Than it's still useless?
