The sigs have been pretty much overboard on this site. It is embarrassing when I'm surfing the forums in a library where other people walk around me and see the lewd sigs that suggest nudity and homosexuality such as killgoreisleet's or jem11299's, and God knows how many naked female sigs are out there...

Please please PLEASE do something about this! Paul, you've recently added filters to Ladder Slasher for crude language. Please do the same for sigs and pictures as well! It is much needed!

I tried turning sigs/avas off and hated it. Turning it off turns my own sig/ava off as well! That really sucks! So I turned it back on... but it's embarrassing when I open up a thread and see killgore's sig right in middle of the screen! Really embarrassing. I know it doesn't really break any rules (it is just a picture of 3 beer bottles after all) but you know exactly what I mean! sleep.gif

I agree. Some of the sigs can get pretty out of hand.

In my opinion their sigs aren't bad at all.
They're supposed to be humorous, no need to take it so seriously.

Other people would look down at these sigs with disdain and disgust and will be very embarrassing for many people. The world does not revolve around you, you know... so yes, this should be taken seriously.

I kinda figured you had to come up with something personal if someone disagrees with you.
It's my opinion, and I also know everyone isn't disgusted about them.

You don't have freedom of anything on here though tongue.gif
It's totally at njaguar's discretion what the rules should be, though I'm sure he discussed with many people before making them.

Rule #1 in sig and ava rights

No crude, offensive, sexually suggestive, or pornographic language or images allowed. We reserve the right to remove your signature/avatar rights without warning. We also reserve the right to edit your profile information to remove the offensive content. You may or may not receive a warning first.

Guess it's totally a moderator's discretion at that point.

hmm i guess laugh.gif

but showing a person in there bikini (or in this case underwear) is not really sexual suggestive, the other one is and you could probably report that...

and you shouldnt be "embarrassed" by an image on the internet lol

Freedom of speech is fine as long as it doesn't cross the line.

These sigs do cross the line so they are not acceptable.

I didn't mean to be personal. You are welcome to have your own opinion, but other people take things more seriously than you do. I believe this must be taken seriously.

I know not everyone is disgusted (well, duh!) but there are many people who are disgusted, myself for one. Can't you accept that just for once, or do you people just don't care about anyone else but yourself?

These sigs cross the line. They are offensive. Just like language. Many people don't care about bad language, but some people do. Therefore Paul added it! It was perfectly legitimate and reasonable for a filter to be added to LS and I believe he should do the same for sigs and profile pictures as well.
