Code
[url=link here]text here[/url]

This is the code for turning text into a hyperlink. However, this only works for d2jsp links, not any other sites outside of d2jsp.

My suggestion is that we have this code also work for sites outside of d2jsp

This would make information a lot more presentable and user-friendly.

Some may say this could be bad because people could disguise text as a URL to an undesired website.
However, if you didn't already know, d2jsp has a pop-up notifier for all outside links:

If this alert isn't good enough, a new one could be created. Something along the lines of...

Please give me your reasons for voting yes smile.gif or no sad.gif

I like it.
Would be a lot nicer for when posting links for friends; like in the guild notebox.

voted no, not only is it not necessary, BUT people can disguise bad websites etc..

For example, if you wanted to link someone to google, you do it, and say its a link to google.. the message WILL COME UP, but it will be the generic- "leaving jsp" message

It could still take you right to a porn site or keylogger..

Without this, you must see the URL you are going to, and it should and will stay that way smile.gif

The pop-up could even verify the site saying "You are leaving d2jsp to go to "outsidesite.com",...."

I agree, but only if it will tell you what the link you are going to is.
