people have always complained that they have done so much already and no one has noticed them for a trusted tag my suggestion is for a forum the mediators and what not can look at for people saying what kind things they have done i know one person in particular i think should receive a trusted because he is always helping in the PC forum and answering any question they need answered it would make it easier for mediators to pay close attention to those who people have reported to be genuinely kind and helpful

i mean we already have a scammer accusation forum why not the opposite

to report and prove when someone helps you out so mediators can look at them

mediators already do alot and looking at individuals when they are in the forums is hard but if they could compile a list of people to look at that would save them time and also reduce the complainers

of course there wil be rules with it u cant post yourself u have to provide genuine proof that these people are doing helpful things like S/S and vouches from other people thanking them and what not and u cant use it to say "this person donated for me"

because from my understanding just donating isnt grounds for trusted upgrade

but i think that would be a nice idea

Not going to comment much on the main idea other then that fact that if it was a poll i would vote no because theres no need for it and it wouldnt make and difference.

As for the part in the quote, people dont get trusted tags because of how much they donate. Some people may think that but thats very wrong. People get trusted tags for the things the do around the site and the fact that they are indeed trustworthy not because they donate to the site. There have been people that received trusted tags when they have never donated before.

I would agree on this as a basis level for a trusted tag, however I do not believe the jsp public should have a place in choosing actual "Site Mediators" I feel those positions should be nominated from members already experienced in jsp politics, site rules and guidelines. maybe we as a public could nominate our trusted members then the M++ or higher, could choose their apprentices from the available T.T.'s

well no i said that donations didnt earn trusted i just thought it would be nice for people who were helped so much for that person to be able to post something that says this person is genuinely kind and helpful is all nothing more than that am i suggesting really



yeah i didnt mean for the public to choose the tt's or meds but for them to say hey meds this person helps alot around the site if u havent already looked at them please check them out

The mods know who is helpful and who isn't. This wouldn't work because anyone can get their friends to vouche and fabricate evidence to say they're trusted by the community.
Also, 98% of all trusted members did not donate until AFTER they got their tag. Some have only donated enough to get donor forums access. Some have only donated enough for the first star, and others show appreciation to the site by donating when they can.

People can claim that sucking up to the mods helps, but it doesn't. If anything, it'll hurt your chances. If suckying up to the mods worked, you'd see alot more trusted tags.
Want a good chance? help out in general help. Report infractions in the trade forum via the report trade thread feature. If a user is breaking more than one violation, gather up his threads and link them + their profile to a trade mod or trade assistant or junior mod, whoever covers that area.
Volunteer to be a s/a helper when there's an opening.
Don't break any forum rules. Be polite.

These are just a few guidelines that you can follow to show the mods that you are good member of this forum.

how about not a "vouch forum" simply a place where when you notice a good deed by another individual you can go to the main page and type in their user Id number, limit each individuals ability to nominate by like one per every 30 days and remove the ability to nominate your self. then take it a step further and only gain that option after your one year jsp mark so no one will create multi accounts just to nominate.

then mod team will have a hard grid of which user id's catch the most attention.

please re word this for me if I have not stated the way it would work correctly and you under stand my concept
